Italian football side Napoli have offered first choice goalkeeper David Ospina a new deal. This is according to Sky Sports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. It was revealed that Colombian senior national team shot stopper Ospinahas been given a new deal to ensure that he commits his future to the Italian Serie A leaders and also prevent him from leaving Napoli on a free transfer when his current deal expires next summer.
Italian football capital club Lazio are said to be interested in signing Ospina when his Napoli deal expires at the end of this season. He has some months left on his existing Napoli contract and the shot stopper can start to negotiate a free transfer move with foreign clubs at the start of next year. Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has
indicated that goalkeeper David Ospina has a future with the Serie A outfit
beyond the current campaign. The Colombia international has made 11 appearances
in the Serie A since his season-long loan move from Arsenal in the summer but
his future has come under question with Alex Meret competing with him for the
number one role.
Elsewhere, Ancelotti spoke about the
frustration with the recent run of league results after the team drew 0-0 for
